Ripples - Round Rug

Happy Nature Photography Day! All of our rugs are based on photos I’ve taken, mostly inspired by light, shadows & reflections. This Ripples rug design was based on a reflection of reeds in a lake in Central Park - I loved the fleeting nature of the image - one moment this pattern was created and then the breeze rippled across the surface of the water and the lake was transformed into a completely different pattern.

Whirl - World Water Day

It's world water day! We are celebrating the 10 year anniversary of our Water collection this year and this is the first time we have shown our Whirl design in a full rug. Each rug is based on a photo I took, capturing fleeting moments in time created by the movement of water - here is the inspiration photo for Whirl from the Water collection.

Whirl Rug - Inspiration Photo

2 days to LDW and Design Centre Chelsea Harbour. 2022 is the ten year anniversary of our Water Collection and here's a little look though the inspiration behind the rugs. Each one is based on a photo I took, capturing fleeting moments in time created by the movement of water. Translated into rugs, each unique image of light and reflections is hand knotted in silk and wool.

Inspired By Nature - Nature photography day

Each year, June 15 is designated by the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA) to promote the enjoyment of nature photography, and to explain how images are used to advance the cause of conservation and protect plants, wildlife, and landscapes both locally and globally.
