The Venezia collection was inspired by a visit to the beautiful city of Venice. Losing herself in the labyrinth of walls, Tania was inspired at every turn by the myriad of textural surfaces and the faded grandeur of crumbling palazzos.
Translated into rugs, these unique images are woven by hand from silk and wool.

Palazzo is inspired by the faded grandeur of ancient crumbling stonework
Imprint captures a beautifully random border design created by inky smudges imprinted on paper
Facade is inspired by the colours and textures that emerge as layers of torn and dampened paper are peeled back
Drift portrays an ancient wall streaked and stained by time, creating a linear pattern of texture
Paved reflects a textural pattern on this weathered walkway created by time
Dapple captures a beautifully random pattern of dappled light on a dampened photo
All of these complex designs are translated into intricately hand woven rugs, made by artisans in Nepal, using a combination of silk and wool. We have a long standing relationship with local rug producers and work closely with GoodWeave, a certification programme with a rigorous and binding set of rules that ensures no child labour is used in the production of rugs.
